-A 104 year old man wants to throw the first pitch during the playoffs if the Cubs make the playoffs. Let's hope he'll still be living at that time...
-From really old, to really young...it looks like everyone's suspicions were correct (if the news report is legit). China's gymnast He Kexin is only 13, making her ineligible to be on the team that won the gold medal this week.
-Chinese police officer's have been ordered to be more friendly and smile more, as their blank, strict facial expressions are scaring off visitors during the Olympics.
-Jason Kidd is all business, as he is through with May Anderson, stating that she was a distraction to his goal of bringing back gold to the states.
-According the Reuters.com, Michael Phelps is the most discussed Olympic athlete online, just ahead of Yao Ming, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.
-Manny Ramirez has actually cut his dreads...about an inch shorter. But he says that it'll be a lot shorter come next season.
-A prayer room has been opened at Ewood Park to allow Blackburn Rovers to pray on days of their games. The Lancashire Council of Mosques and The Dean of Blackburn Cathedral have called this move, "commendable".
