-TheStar reported that longtime Leafs captain, Mats Sundin is seriously contemplating retirement. His agent said this will likely mean that the decision will be made sometime in August.
-According to his BoSox teammates, Dustin Pedroia just "never shuts up" and one former Triple-A teammate said, "He acted way too cocky, way too big league for my taste". Hate it or love it, the kid can back up the smack he dishes out - and apparently he does a lot of it during games.

-Olympiakos stated that they are looking to make a big offer to Lebron James when he becomes a free agent in 2010. No chance that happens. Lebron doesn't need the cash (which could quite possibly be an outrageous amount), so I'll believe it when I see it.
-Apple is coming out with an 88 diamond studded iPhone, in honour of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and the price tag for that bad boy is almost as ridiculous as the product itself.

-Controversial goaltender Ray Emery is headed to Russia next season, after sparking almost no interest from NHL teams, this offseason - and to be specific (according to his agent) only 3 calls from other teams.
-I'm beginning to think Dan Labatard doesn't like Canada - but maybe I'm just paranoid. Or, maybe it's the fact that I can't stand the guy.
-Candace Parker's statline against the Houston Comets Wednesday - 40 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks. Scary considering she's only a rookie...
