Saturday, November 1, 2008 - Jesus Price - That's Religulous!

-The Toronto Maple Leafs scored 5 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to stun the Rangers - what a comeback.
-Roy Williams' costume of a bell hop with a "T-Bell" name tag was priceless.
-Bryshon Nellum, a USC sprinter took three bullets to the leg after leaving a Halloween party. That's gotta hurt, and I'm not just talking career-wise.
-The Raptors are 3-0! And Chris Bosh is playing like an MVP. And who says he isn't clutch?
-the man of the hour, C.C Sabathia has filed for free agency. Let the bidding wars begin for the prized pitcher of this offseason...
-Hold the retirement ceremonies, Daunte Culpepper has reportedly signed on with the Lions.
-Chris Bosh on next question with Michael Landsberg, "Who will you miss more T.J or Chuck Swirsky." His response? Chuck. And side note to Landsberg, nice job pronouncing Rafael Araujo - shows how much he follows the Raptors.
-Jonathon Papelbon is putting his '06 rookie glove up for auction on Ebay - starting bid is $4,500.
-Fans on internet forums have dubbed Canadians' goaltender Carey Price as Jesus Price. Wow - and I thought Lebron's The King was a ridiculous handle.
-The idea that any Joe with a celebrity sized-wallet could potentially be on the next cover of Madden is intriguing to me. Something tells me that Terrel Owens might be pleased with this marketing scheme.
-The Madison Square Gardens crowd were chanting, "We want Steph!". And I used to think New Yorkers new a thing or two about basketball...
-In odd news, a group of Benedictine nuns have purchased 50 shares in Hajduk Split the croation soccer squad - becoming one of the club's top 20 shareholders.
-Video of the day: good-bye Shea Stadium...
